PROPOSED TRA PROJECT SIMIYU

Simiyu is one of the 31 administrative regions in Tanzania, with its capital located at Bariadi.  it was carved out of Shinyanga region in 2012. the name comes from river Simiyu, which flows out the Serengeti National Park. Boasting of a population of about 1,584,157 people, the region ranks 23rd in terms of growth rate in Tanzania.

With a robust economy, the government, through the Tanzania Revenue Authority sought to build a tax administration center to cater the tax collection needs of the region. Y & P Architects was commissioned to take on this important project.
